My Apartment Is Cleansed

Back in late August (08/20/2010), I mentioned how I had new neighbors moving in. I did fear them. I was not sure of what kind of heathens were going to be residing next to me for however long it may be. I was happy the Lazy Laundriers moved away. The reason for their departure is still unknown. I was paying rent one day and she asked how I like the new neighbors. I agreed they are good people. I added that they are better with completing their laundry than the past tenants. I mentioned two people living there. She snapped back at me. It was almost as if two people living their was my fault. Two people were not on the lease. It was just one. But which one? Was it the male or the female? Who was the person on the lease? Doesn’t matter now. They are gone. Life was good.

I am a huge fan of Netflix. It’s my go to device for movies. If I haven’t seen a movie, I go there. If I want to watch some old sitcoms, I go there. If I need to relax and watch a cheesy horror movie, I go there. Today was a “cheesy horror movie” night. Before I watched this movie, my sister lent me a movie to watch. It was called, “For Sale By Owner”. Tom Skeritt was in it. I know him from Picket Fences but I really remember him from Poltergeist III. FSBO wasn’t very good. It was a slow movie. When I Was An Online DJ: Part I

Back in 2004-2008, I took to the air and was a dj online. Those four years were amazing. I had so much fun. I always said I would get back in to it but never actually took the step forward. I was to start a new station with a friend but I started working longer hours, dedicating my life to my blog and late night yahoo chat. I just shoved the online deejaying job aside. Maybe I should get back into it. Who knows. I say that now but next week or even tomorrow, I’ll forget about this and not attempt it at all. (more…)

Renewing My License

My driver’s license was to expire next month. It was time for me to renew it. After getting all the needed ID’s credentials, I made my way to the license bureau. I was told when I went in the entire states license system was down. Not just the office I went to. Every office in the entire state. What the eff happened? I was told the system would be up the next day. I was worried that it was going to take weeks. I mean we already stand in line there for hours, why wouldn’t they take their sweet ace time on fixing this error? I work banker hours (sorta). I am normally at work till 4ish. I would have no time to get the crap I needed done. I would miss my chance and would probably be driving on an expired license. I am cool with breaking the rules of the road.

Captain Planet Dances

I like to think that everyone in the world has some sort of talent. It might be cooking. It might be a talent in singing or juggling. I like to think I have talent in writing. Captain Planet likes to think he has talent in the field of dancing. The below video is here to disprove of that. He is no Gene Kelly. In no way shape or form does he meet the level of Fred Astaire. I’ve been sitting on the video for a few weeks. He was thrilled that I still had it and asked to get it up on youtube. He’s also the same guy I wrote the poem about. No need to worry. The poem just has his name. I think it is a great poem.
